Hand-painted Blue and Gold Fringe Tack Set by Shiloh Tack

Happy Tuesday Ya’ll!!  I can’t wait to show you pictures of my new hand-painted blue and gold fringe tack set.  It’s so awesome. 🙂

But first, gah let me tell you, it has sucked to get new tack that you want to use soooo badly and then not be able to. Since Christmas it’s snowed and rained. Finally, after a weekend full of rain and even rain yesterday to start the week,  we’re suppose to have lots of sunshine and warm weather! I can not tell you how excited that makes me. I need my arena and pastures to dry up so I can ride. I’ve made it a goal this year to keep both Gracie and Rumor in shape and so far I’m majorly failing at this. It won’t stay sunny and warm enough for me to want to be outside and ride. But hopefully that’s all changing now.

Anyway, I know you don’t want to hear about the weather. So let’s talk about my Christmas present. 🙂 Last year for Christmas I asked for a couple new tack sets. The sets I had were getting pretty old and the main set I was using was actually Raquel’s and when I bought Rumor I sent her back her stuff she let me borrow. So I figured it was time to get some new tack. New year, new goals, new tack needed to meet new goals. That’s a logical thought, isn’t it?!

One of the sets I picked out was this beautiful hand-painted blue and gold fringe tack set. While I typically find myself going for sets that have pink in them, this one just stood out to me. It’s just so pretty. Not to mention, the brown color of the leather matches my saddle perfectly. And…it didn’t cost me a fortune to buy! As much as I love those $500 tack sets, I just can’t justify spending that much money on one. I’m a “tight wad” as my friends like to say. I’ll tell you right now, this set along with the other set I bought – which I will be sharing next week – cost me less then $300 together! Now that’s a deal!

Gracie must have a big head or something. The girl is having to wear this bridle on the very last hole!

Isn’t it pretty with all the stones and color.

I love the curve of the brow band too.

Then the curves follow through on the breastcollar as well. Not to mention, the fringe is a metallic gold color. I’m just in love.
